Repairs

Sealed units - Broken down or steamed up sealed units make up a large percentage of faults to UPVC windows and doors this is caused by poor installation or simply the age of the sealed unit. the average life of a unit is approximately 10 - 12 years and many are fitted by companies that last far less in years than the life of the installation leaving you with problem units and NO guarantee.

Hinges - Faulty or broken window hinges have two main draw backs:

1 - POOR SECURITY leaving hinges at less than full potential and are not strong enough to deter an intruder.

2 - Windows not closing securely means drafts and cold spots. Why heat your home only to allow heat to escape through faulty units.

Doors and Windows

Doors and windows that don't open close and lock as they should are annoying, troublesome and inconvenient. most of the time simply re-glazing or adjusting will cure the problem. However, sometimes new locks, handles or barrels are required. If this is the case no work will be done until you the customer has had a quote and we have been given the permission to proceed. Warranty

A Warranty of 10 years is given to new windows and doors but only one year to the mechanics as per most manufacturers terms and conditions. 10 years is also given to all glass and glazing.
